About Us
How it started
The project began in 2016 with Armando and Luís, friends for many years, both with a passion for nature, making pieces for their homes, for the pleasure and distraction that these works provide.
Over the years, it expanded, due to requests from friends and friends of those friends who saw and appreciated our work. At a later stage, we decided to diversify the pieces we worked on, from lamps, to candle holders, to coat racks... we went evolving, but always focused on the principle, which is Mother Nature who challenges and inspires us to create our pieces from the “leftovers” she offers us to work with.
Both working in management positions and with limited time, projects were done during the weekends, when family availability allowed it and the desire to work was greater than the desire to rest.
In a new and decisive step, the younger generations of the family began to instill and challenge: why not launch a Brand and be able to publicize and present these works to the public... and thus, at the end of 2024, LAMS Woodcrafts was born.
With the same passion as always and with the vision of sustainability that has always been part of this project, the story behind LAMS Woodcrafts is nothing more than the desire to do something meaningful and rewarding.
Together, we found a way to combine our best skills, creativity and technical expertise, learning and challenging ourselves to make our dreams come true. We couldn't be happier to do what we love most: creating unique and sustainable pieces.
