CARACOROA is born from a wooden disc with irregular contours, embracing its natural and imperfect form without reservation. It rests directly on a metal base, creating a subtle contrast between the solidity of the metal and the organic nature of the wood.

Each facet reveals a distinct hue, almost as if the piece had two identities—a play of light, time, and matter that inspired its name. Process

Each LAMS Woodcrafts piece combines the solidity of wood with the lightness of raffia — two distinct materials, handcrafted with the same respect and dedication.
The wooden base, shaped by time and transformed by hand, is cleaned, sanded, treated against insects and fungi, and its pores are filled before receiving a smooth finish with natural beeswax, preserving the marks, cracks, and imperfections that tell its story.
This process combines technique, patience, and sensitivity, resulting in pieces that don't hide the hand of their maker. We value the natural rhythm of the materials and celebrate their authenticity—because we believe that true beauty resides in imperfection.
