The products sold through the website www.lamswoodcrafts.com (hereinafter "Site") are sold by LAMS Concept, SA, a public limited company registered in Portugal with Tax Identification Number (NIF) 518223922, and with its registered office at Rua 25 de Novembro de 1975, n.º 2, 2º A, 1495-156 Miraflores - Algés, Portugal. LAMS Concept, SA operates under the registered trademark LAMS Woodcrafts, a NATIONAL TRADEMARK registered under number 734149.

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter referred to as "Terms and Conditions"), together with the ordering process and other elements referred to herein, govern the conditions for the purchase and sale of products and, where applicable, the provision of services made available through the Site.

2. Product Description, Features and Care

LAMS Woodcrafts pieces are carefully crafted by artisans who work with natural wood sourced from recycled raw materials and collected responsibly from nature. The brand takes pride in transforming wood shaped by time and environmental forces into design pieces with a unique and unrepeatable character.

Each creation reflects unique veins, marks, and stories, making each piece exclusive and of high aesthetic value. Due to the nature of the material and the handcrafted process, the products may present variations such as cracks, splits, cut or polishing marks, differences in color or dimension. These variations are not considered defects, but distinctive features of the authenticity of the wood and the handwork, which give individuality to each piece.

The images presented on the website are for illustrative purposes only, although captured and edited to accurately reflect each piece. However, slight variations in color, texture, or brightness may occur between the photographs and the product received, due to factors such as photo editing, the natural characteristics of the materials, and differences between viewing devices (PC, tablet, or smartphone). These variations are natural and do not constitute a defect, and should be understood as an integral part of the unique character of each creation.

LAMS Woodcrafts products are designed primarily for indoor use. Pieces intended for outdoor use, when properly marked as such in their description, receive specific treatment and protection to ensure greater durability. In both cases, proper maintenance by the customer is essential to preserve the characteristics and longevity of the product.

The products can be sanded, polished, and finished with natural protection, such as waxes or beeswax-based oils. To maintain the wood in good condition and appearance, periodic reapplication of the protective layer is recommended, according to the instructions provided with the product or by contacting LAMS Woodcrafts.

It is recommended to avoid direct and prolonged exposure to excessive heat sources, high humidity, and direct contact with liquids or food, unless otherwise indicated. When applicable, the connection and usage instructions for the electrical components supplied with the product must be strictly followed.

3. Purchase Process

By placing an order through the Site, the Customer declares that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions. The Customer also confirms that all personal and delivery information provided is true, complete, and up-to-date.

The order placed by the Customer constitutes a purchase offer for the selected products. The purchase and sale agreement is considered concluded only after the Customer receives an order confirmation email from LAMS Woodcrafts and after successful validation of the corresponding payment.

LAMS Woodcrafts reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order, especially in situations of suspected fraudulent use of payment methods, errors or omissions in the data provided by the Customer, unforeseen stock unavailability, or other exceptional circumstances that justify it.

Whenever this occurs before order confirmation, the payment will not be processed. If the situation is detected after payment processing, the Customer will be duly informed and LAMS Woodcrafts will proceed with a full refund of the amount paid, using the same payment method.

4. Prices and Payment

The prices of the products shown on the Site are expressed in euros (€) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the legal rate in force in Portugal.

The available payment methods — such as MB Way, Payshop, Credit Card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or Bank Transfer — are clearly presented during the checkout process. Payment processing is carried out through specialized and secure entities, in compliance with applicable legislation and best data protection practices.

LAMS Woodcrafts reserves the right to change product prices at any time without prior notice. However, such changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed and paid for.

If a clear error is detected in the price of a product after an order has been placed, LAMS Woodcrafts will inform the Customer as soon as possible. The Customer may then choose between confirming the order at the correct price or cancelling it, with the right to a full refund of the amount paid.

5. Stock Availability

All products shown on the Site are subject to stock availability. Given the handcrafted and often unique nature of the pieces, stock is limited.
If a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, the Customer will be informed as soon as possible after this situation is detected.

In this case, the Customer may choose to receive a full refund of the amount paid or, if possible and by agreement, to have the product replaced with another of equivalent characteristics and value.

6. Shipping of Orders

LAMS Woodcrafts ships to mainland Portugal, the autonomous regions of Madeira and the Azores, as well as to other countries in the European Union, through partner carriers.
The selection of the shipping carrier is made by LAMS Woodcrafts at the time of shipment, taking into account the destination and the nature of the product.

Estimated Delivery Times

  • Mainland Portugal: 3 to 7 business days
  • Autonomous Regions of Madeira and the Azores : 7 to 14 working days
  • European Union countries : 5 to 15 business days (may vary depending on the destination country)

The indicated delivery times are estimates and are counted in business days, starting from the confirmation of payment for the order.
LAMS Woodcrafts will make every effort to meet the estimated delivery deadlines.
However, deliveries are made by independent carriers, so LAMS Woodcrafts cannot be held responsible for delays, losses, or other incidents that occur after shipment, including, but not limited to, situations resulting from adverse weather conditions, strikes, transport disruptions, access difficulties, customs problems (in international shipments), or other force majeure circumstances.

Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of the order, and are clearly indicated during checkout, before the purchase is finalized.
  • For orders destined outside the European Union (where applicable and offered by LAMS Woodcrafts), customs duties, import taxes, or other local charges are the sole responsibility of the Customer and are not included in the product price or shipping costs shown.
  • The Customer is responsible for correctly filling in the delivery information. If the address provided is incorrect, incomplete, or delivery is not possible due to the recipient's absence, the order may be returned to LAMS Woodcrafts, incurring additional reshipping costs, which will be borne by the Customer.

Order Tracking

After shipment, the Customer will receive a shipping confirmation email and, whenever provided by the carrier, a tracking number that will allow them to monitor the delivery status.
In case of delivery difficulties, the Customer may be contacted by the carrier or by LAMS Woodcrafts to resolve the situation.

7. Right of Free Resolution

In the context of online purchases, the Customer has a period of 14 (fourteen) days, from the date on which they acquire physical possession of the good(s), to exercise their right of free resolution, without the need to indicate any reason, as provided for in article 10 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of February 14.

To exercise this right, the Customer must notify LAMS Woodcrafts of their intention to terminate the contract by email to info@lamswoodcrafts.com, indicating the order number and the items to be returned.

The items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received, showing no signs of use, properly packaged, with all accessories and complements, in the original packaging, accompanied by the respective invoice.

Any product that does not meet these conditions will not be eligible for return and will remain at LAMS Woodcrafts facilities until the Customer pays the reshipping costs.

Return

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in cases of shipping errors or product defects attributable to LAMS Woodcrafts.
  • The customer is responsible for ensuring that the item is properly packaged and shipped safely (using a courier service or registered mail is recommended).
  • LAMS Woodcrafts is not responsible for returns that do not reach its facilities.

After receiving and verifying the returned items, LAMS Woodcrafts will proceed with the refund of the corresponding amount, using the same payment method as the initial order, within a maximum period of 14 days from the date of receipt of the cancellation notice.
LAMS Woodcrafts may, however, withhold reimbursement until the returned goods have been effectively received or until the Customer provides proof of shipment.

If something isn't as you expected, we want the return process to be simple and clear — because we believe that craftsmanship should be done, and experienced, with confidence and authenticity.

8. Return Policy (Non-Conformity or Defect)

In addition to the right of free resolution provided for in the previous item, if the purchased product has a manufacturing defect or does not conform to the order, the Customer is entitled to return, replacement or repair, under the terms of the applicable legal guarantee (see Item 12).

In these situations, the Customer must contact LAMS Woodcrafts via email at info@lamswoodcrafts.com within the legally established timeframe, indicating the order number and describing the defect or non-conformity in detail, attaching, if possible, photographs that demonstrate it.

After receiving notification and verifying the non-conformity or defect by LAMS Woodcrafts, and if the brand's responsibility is confirmed, LAMS Woodcrafts will bear the costs of collecting the product (when applicable and previously agreed upon with LAMS Woodcrafts) and will proceed, as appropriate and in agreement with the Client:

• To repair the product , if feasible and appropriate to the nature of the product and the defect;

Product replacement with a new one, if available. Given the handcrafted and often unique nature of LAMS Woodcrafts pieces, replacement with an exactly identical piece may not be possible. In such cases, the Customer will be offered a replacement with a piece of the same type and value or the issuance of a credit for future purchases, subject to agreement between the parties;

• To the appropriate reduction of the price ;

• A full refund of the amount paid for the product , including the original shipping costs (standard shipping method) and return shipping costs (when applicable, previously agreed upon with LAMS Woodcrafts and duly documented).

9. Customized Products and Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

According to Article 17 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of February 14, the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods produced according to consumer specifications or clearly personalized.

If LAMS Woodcrafts supplies products that fall into this category — for example, custom-made pieces with unique characteristics requested by the Customer — this will be clearly indicated in the product description.
These products cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal, except in cases of manufacturing defects or non-conformity attributable to LAMS Woodcrafts.

10. Damage in Transit

At the time of delivery, the Customer must check the condition of the packaging.
If the packaging shows visible damage that may have affected the integrity of the product(s), the Customer should, whenever possible, refuse delivery or record the incident on the carrier's delivery note.

The Customer must also contact LAMS Woodcrafts within a maximum of 48 hours after delivery, via email at info@lamswoodcrafts.com , sending photographs of the damaged packaging and the affected product(s).

After analyzing the situation, LAMS Woodcrafts will seek to find the best solution for the Customer, which may include replacing the product (if applicable and available) or refunding the amount paid.

11. Responsibility for Delivery

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the shipping information provided at the time of ordering — name, full address, postal code, and telephone number — is correct and complete.

LAMS Woodcrafts is not responsible for failed deliveries or returned orders resulting from errors, omissions, or insufficient information provided by the Customer, nor for situations where the recipient is absent at the time of the delivery attempt by the carrier.

If an order is returned to LAMS Woodcrafts for reasons attributable to the Customer (for example, incorrect or incomplete address, or failure to collect the order within the time stipulated by the carrier), the costs of any reshipment will be borne by the Customer.

12. Legal Guarantee of Conformity

All products sold by LAMS Woodcrafts through the Website are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity, under the terms and deadlines stipulated in Decree-Law No. 84/2021, of October 18, and other applicable legislation.

The warranty period for new movable goods is 3 (three) years, starting from the date of delivery of the product.

In the event of a non-conformity (defect) that manifests itself within the warranty period, the Customer must notify LAMS Woodcrafts of the situation via email at info@lamswoodcrafts.com as soon as possible so that the matter can be resolved quickly and appropriately.

In the event of a non-conformity, the Client is entitled, in this order and unless impossible or disproportionate, to:

  • Product repair;
  • Product replacement with a similar product, as suggested by LAMS Woodcrafts, given the handcrafted and often unique nature of LAMS Woodcrafts pieces, replacement with an exactly identical piece may not be possible;
  • Proportional price reduction;
  • Termination of the contract, with the consequent reimbursement of the amount paid.

The exercise of these rights is governed by articles 15 to 22 of Decree-Law No. 84/2021.

13. Customer Responsibility

It is the Customer's sole responsibility to ensure that all data provided for order, billing, and shipping purposes is correct, complete, and up-to-date.

The Customer must use the Site responsibly and in accordance with its purpose, refraining from practices that may compromise its operation or violate the rights of LAMS Woodcrafts.

14. Intellectual Property and Copyright

All content on the LAMS Woodcrafts website — including, but not limited to, text, descriptions, photographs, images, logos, product designs, graphics, videos, and other visual or audio materials — is the exclusive property of LAMS Woodcrafts or used with permission from the respective owners.

Such content is protected by copyright, industrial property rights and other applicable legislation, and its reproduction, distribution, modification, transmission, publication, display or use for commercial or non-commercial purposes is expressly prohibited without the prior written authorization of LAMS Woodcrafts.

The LAMS Woodcrafts name, brand, and visual identity may not be used by third parties without express consent.
Any misuse of the brand's content or distinctive elements may give rise to civil and/or criminal liability under the law.

15. Alternative Dispute Resolution for Consumer Disputes (ADR) and Complaints Book

In the event of a consumer dispute, the customer (as the end consumer) may resort to a competent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entity.
LAMS Woodcrafts informs that, not having adhered to any specific ADR entity through full membership, the consumer may resort to the legally established entities.

The updated list of ADR entities can be found on the Consumer Portal ( www.consumidor.gov.br ). Among the competent entities are, in particular:

16. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions, as well as any contract entered into under them, are governed by Portuguese law .
For the resolution of disputes arising from the interpretation or execution of these Terms and Conditions, and if an amicable resolution or resolution through alternative dispute resolution mechanisms is not possible, the competent court shall be that of the consumer's domicile , or, by agreement of the parties, the court of the district of Oeiras .
This provision does not prejudice the consumer's right to file a lawsuit in the court of their domicile, as provided for in consumer protection legislation.

17. Changes to the Terms and Conditions

LAMS Woodcrafts reserves the right to change or update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
The changes made do not affect orders already confirmed. It is recommended that you check this page regularly to stay informed about the latest version of the Terms and Conditions.
