Each LAMS Woodcrafts combined piece is the meeting of the solidity of wood and the lightness of raffia - two distinct materials, handcrafted with the same respect and dedication.
The wooden base, shaped by time and transformed by hand, is cleaned, sanded, treated against insects and fungi, and pore-sealed before receiving a smooth finish with natural beeswax, preserving the marks, cracks, and imperfections that tell its story. The lampshade, in turn, is born from a wire structure shaped and welded by hand, into which paper raffia is woven, fiber by fiber - forming a unique design of shadow and light.
This process combines technique, patience, and sensitivity, resulting in pieces that don't hide the hand of their maker. We value the natural rhythm of the materials and celebrate their authenticity - because we believe that true beauty resides in imperfection.
We produce with passion, in an artisanal and sustainable way, creating objects that go beyond functionality - they are living expressions of nature transformed with dedication and art.
